  • 8:15 a.m. ET - Race Director welcome message and messages of hope from race participants

  • 8:25 a.m. ET - 5 minute warning. Get ready to launch from your corral

  • 8:29 a.m. ET - Countdown

  • 8:30 a.m. ET - Race starts

  • 8:32 a.m. ET - Race ambassadors begin broadcasting from their race route throughout event every 10-15mins.

  • Messages of hope from race participants continue throughout the event.

  • Share moments from your race route and finish #iRaceForHope

  • 9:30 a.m. ET - Event Wraps

Join us on race day with our virtual Race of Hope community and listen to the welcome ceremony, countdown, starting gun, and launch at the exact same time from your virtual starting corral! We are broadcasting from the east coast starting at 8:15 a.m. ET. Join us on Facebook, YouTube, or watch on our website! Links coming soon.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Bring your phone to your Starting Line where you'll begin your chosen Virtual Race of Hope distance.

  2. Make sure you have a good WiFi or cellular signal

  3. Select one of these locations to join the Virtual Corral based on how you prefer to participate:

  • Facebook: Like us… Then watch & interact by commenting & uploading your race photos & videos

  • YouTube: Follow us… Then watch & interact by commenting only

  • Our Website: Watch only

RACE DAY TIPS:

  1. Plan ahead by wearing an armband, phone pouch or gear with secure pockets!

  2. Like us on Facebook or Follow us on YouTube so that you can interact on your whichever platform you choose during the broadcast.

  3. Connect to the Virtual corral at 8:15 a.m. ET to enjoy every moment of watching and interacting with racers from across the country.

  4. Plan to check-in during your race to watch, share, & interact!
